Services

Four ways to work together. Which one you need usually depends on whether the gap is leadership, output, or both.

1

Fractional Creative & Art Direction

For marketing teams without a creative lead in-house.

You have a marketing team, a roadmap, and no one whose job is to hold the creative standard. Work gets made, but it doesn't add up to a brand — every vendor interprets the guidelines differently, every deck looks like a different company, and nobody owns the decision.

I embed with your team one to three days a week. Strategy and creative direction, hands-on production when it's faster than briefing it out, brand governance, vendor management, and continuity across everything you ship.

What's included

Standing weekly presence · Direct access, not a ticket queue · Creative direction and review on all outbound work · Brand governance and guideline enforcement · Vendor sourcing and management · Hands-on design production

Three-month minimum. Commitment set at one, two, or three days per week.

2

Flagship Content & Reports

Threat reports, research, whitepapers, and everything downstream of them.

The annual report is the single hardest-working asset a security marketing team produces and the one most likely to be designed under duress in the last three weeks before launch. It doesn't have to go that way.

I design and produce from your copy and data — including the derivative assets that actually carry it into market: the executive summary, the social kit, the landing page, the sales version, the translated layouts.

Typical scopes

Solution briefs and ebooks (8–16 pages) · Research briefs and whitepapers (16–32 pages) · Annual flagship reports (40–100+ pages, data-visualization heavy) · Multi-market and translated editions

Add-ons

Custom data-visualization systems · Executive summary variants · Social and derivative asset kits · Landing page design · Print production management

3

Brand & Campaign Systems

Identity, guidelines, campaigns, events, enablement.

The systems work most freelancers won't touch and most agencies overcharge for.

Brand identity systems New marks, visual systems, and the architecture underneath them.

Brand refresh: Modernizing a system that still works but no longer looks like it does.

Brand guidelines and template libraries: The documentation that makes a brand survive contact with twelve people who didn't build it.

Campaign concept and asset systems: Concept through the full asset matrix, sized for every channel you actually run.

Trade show and event branding: Booth design, environmental graphics, and the collateral package around them.

Sales enablement and presentation systems: Decks, one-pagers, and templates a sales team will actually use.

Scoped and quoted per project. Fixed price, defined deliverables, defined revision rounds.

Trade show note: Design and art direction only. Fabrication, printing, shipping, drayage, and installation are contracted and billed directly by the client.

4

Production Capacity

For teams that need output, not leadership.

Sometimes the gap isn't strategic. You know exactly what you need, you just don't have the hands. Send work, get work back — no standing meetings, no strategy retainer.

Available by the day, or as a monthly block of days for teams with steady overflow.

One-day minimum. Monthly blocks carry a three-month minimum; unused days roll forward one month.

How engagements work

1 · Conversation. Twenty minutes. What you're building, what's in the way, what's already been tried.

2 · Scope. You get a written scope with deliverables, timeline, revision rounds, and a fixed price — usually within 24 hours. I don't quote on live calls.

3 · Kickoff. 50% deposit, then we start.

4 · Delivery. Two revision rounds included. Anything outside the agreed scope is quoted as a change order before it starts, never after.

Also worth knowing

I work white-label for agencies. Your client never needs to know I exist.

Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Midjourney. Print production and vendor management included, not subcontracted out and marked up.

Chicago-based. Remote by default, on-site when it matters.

Todd worked for me years ago, and to this day we still use production workflows and efficiencies that he helped develop. That's probably the highest compliment I can give him. Great design is important. Improving how an entire system works? That's something that lasts.
